The Thai-bamboo Guesthouse was built between 13.May 2001, and 15.February 2002.

On more than 6000 sqm we have 50 Mangotrees, 19 Teakwood trees, 30 Hibiscus plants, much more than 1000 Bamboo plants and many other different tropical plants. Unfortunately we don't know the the botanical name, but at night there is one certain plant spreading a very nice smell all over the area of our Thai bamboo resort.

At Thai bamboo Netaya is cooking. To "look into the pot" is allowed and Netaya is always happy to explain the secrets of the different kinds of food. Sometimes -and only on request- she is using the chilis as well!

But Netaya is not only the cook but also the manager of the Thai-bamboo Guesthouse.

The Thai-bamboo Guesthouse has it's 4 bungalows, the pool and the main house arranged in way that no plant had to be removed during the construction.

Ruediger is the only German here at Thai bamboo and brings in his experience as a cook, waiter and travel guide.

Ruediger und Netaya

Die city / town of Cha-am can be reached within 6 minutes, here you find apart from the beach some restaurants and hotels, banks, post office and other facilities.

The resort is located 5km up country and it takes only a 6 minutes comfortable ride from the beach to reach it.

A dog (Hong the Golden Retriever), 3 small fish ponds with lots of fishes, herons, bats and Geckos are here to meet on the frequent short visits.

After long rain showers the frog world has awaken and is appealing with their concerts! One of the favorite picture motives are the many clorful butterflies, who of course are very busy to suck the nectar from the plants.

Rung is the gardener and always busy, although rapidness is not the main goal.

Chang is the man for everything. He paints, hammers, glues and saws.
